According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Tuyen - Head of Anh Son District Police: Since 2013, a group of young people from village 9, Tuong Son commune came up with the idea of ​​hanging the national flag high on the top of Vu hill, a spontaneous act but showing the spirit of national pride.

The flag-raising activity is carried out by young people on the occasion of April 30, May 1, National Day September 2 and Lunar New Year. Realizing that this is a meaningful activity, the officers and soldiers of Anh Son District Police organized a flag-raising ceremony here and considered this an annual activity.
