Ky Son District Police Solved 2 Drug Cases in One Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 13, Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau - Head of Ky Son District Police (Nghe An) said that the unit had successfully solved 2 drug cases, arresting 2 subjects transporting and possessing over 120 synthetic drug pills and 5 grams of heroin.
Realizing that the situation of illegal drug trafficking in Chieu Luu commune is becoming more complicated, Ky Son District Police decided to establish Project 138X to fight and eradicate it.
At 4:00 p.m. on March 12, 2018, at Luu Thang village, Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son police arrested Mr. Vi Xuan Hoai (1954), residing in Dua village, Luong Minh commune (Tuong Duong). Upon inspection, it was discovered that he was hiding 2 synthetic drug pills on his person. Continuing to search Mr. Xuan's house, the police seized an additional 3 grams of heroin, 120 synthetic drug pills, a homemade gun, and 19 bullets.

At 11:00 p.m. the same day, the Criminal - Economic - Drug Team, Ky Son District Police arrested Luong Van Dau (born 1993), residing in Hong Tien village, Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son), and seized 25 packages of heroin with a total weight of 2 grams.
It is known that Vi Xuan Hoai has 2 previous convictions for drug trafficking and illegal possession. Hoai just completed his prison term in February 2017 after 10 years of serving his sentence. Through testing, both subjects tested positive for drugs.
Currently, Ky Son District Police are detaining the above two subjects to serve the investigation.
