Nam Dan police seize vehicle carrying illegally logged timber.

(Baonghean.vn)According to Mr. Le Khac Thuyet, Head of the Nam Dan District Police, at 2:00 AM on April 12th, the armed patrol team of the Nam Dan District Police apprehended a truck with license plate 37V 1007 carrying approximately 5 cubic meters of wood, traveling on National Highway 46 in the direction of Thanh Chuong – Vinh City.

The truck driver, Pham Thanh Hai (born in 1986), residing in Thanh Long commune (Thanh Chuong district), was unable to present any documents regarding the origin of the timber on the truck.
The Nam Dan District Police are currently investigating the matter.
