Nam Dan police caught a vehicle carrying illegal timber.
(Baonghean.vn)-Mr. Le Khac Thuyet, Chief of Nam Dan District Police, said that at 2:00 a.m. on April 12, the Nam Dan District Police Armed Patrol Team arrested a truck with license plate 37V 1007 carrying about 5 cubic meters of wood traveling on National Highway 46 in the direction of Thanh Chuong - Vinh City.
The truck driver, Pham Thanh Hai (born in 1986), residing in Thanh Long commune (Thanh Chuong), could not present any documents regarding the origin of the wood on the truck.
Currently, Nam Dan District Police are investigating to clarify.
