Nghe An police arrest subject using taxi 'label' to transport drugs between provinces
(Baonghean.vn) - Disguising a drug-carrying vehicle as a taxi, aggressively resisting and driving into the police in an attempt to escape, the inter-provincial drug trafficker was eventually arrested.
On the afternoon of March 28, Nghia Dan District Police said that they had just coordinated with related units to successfully carry out Project 320C, breaking up an inter-provincial drug ring, arresting 3 subjects, and seizing 6kg of synthetic drugs.

Previously, after a period of setting up a special project to fight, at 2:00 a.m. on March 27, on National Highway 48 (through Dong Hung hamlet, Nghia My commune, Thai Hoa town), Nghia Dan district police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) and Quy Chau district police to arrest Ta Van Cuong (31 years old, residing in Sao Do ward, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province) when Cuong was driving a Hyundai i10 car with license plate 34A-116.49 disguised with the Thanh Do taxi logo on National Highway 48.
During the arrest, Cuong aggressively fought back, driving his car into the police force in an attempt to escape, but was eventually arrested. Searching Cuong's car, the police seized 6kg of synthetic drugs (ketamine), 3 cell phones, and 1 iron pipe.

From Cuong's testimony, Task Force 320C continued to arrest Pham Van Khang (30 years old, residing in Le Loi ward, Chi Linh city) and Nguyen Van Duc (30 years old, residing in Sao Do ward, both in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province).
It is known that this drug ring was set up very sophisticatedly. The subjects from Hai Duong went to the Vietnam - Laos border area in Que Phong district (Nghe An) to connect with some Lao people to buy drugs, then transport them to the North for consumption.
