Nghe An Police offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and late Minister Tran Quoc Hoan
(Baonghean.vn) - The delegation led by Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department, offered incense to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic Site and the Memorial House of the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan in Nam Trung Commune, Nam Dan District.
At the Uncle Ho Memorial House in Kim Lien Relic Site, the Delegation respectfully offered President Ho Chi Minh a bouquet of fresh flowers and fragrant incense sticks to commemorate the immense merit of the national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity, founder and trainer of our Party and beloved father of the armed forces.

On the same day, the delegation also offered incense, flowers and signed the memorial book at the house of the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan in Nam Trung commune, Nam Dan. Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan's birth certificate was Nguyen Trong Canh, born on January 23, 1916, in Duong Lieu village, Nam Duong commune (now Nam Trung commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An). Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan was the first Minister of the Ministry of Public Security, holding the position from 1953 to the end of 1980.

With more than 30 years as a member of the Party Central Committee, more than 20 years as a member of the Politburo and nearly 28 years as the highest leader of the Public Security sector, comrade Tran Quoc Hoan has made great contributions to the revolution, to the cause of protecting national security and order and building the Public Security force. His thoughts and theoretical systems are invaluable assets to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland in the past, today and tomorrow.
