Nghe An Police won first prize in the contest of excellent legal reporters and propagandists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the award ceremony, Mr. Hoang Quoc Hao - Director of the Department of Justice affirmed that the work of propaganda, dissemination and legal education has a very important position, meaning and role in social life, being a bridge to bring the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to all people.

Currently, the province has 92 provincial-level legal reporters, 735 district-level legal reporters and 6,719 grassroots-level reporters, of whom 32 are officials, working in legal affairs at provincial-level departments and agencies.

They are the core players who play an important role in the work of propagating, disseminating and educating the law, and are the ones who directly bring the law to the people. Improving the quality and effectiveness of knowledge, skills and expertise for each legal reporter and propagandist is extremely necessary. The 2019 Competition for Excellent Legal Reporters and Propagandists in Nghe An Province is one of the activities aimed at this purpose.

Before the evaluation and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored the grassroots mediators, recognizing their contributions to the implementation of the Mediation Law in the past time. Of which, 5 groups and 5 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 62 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Department of Justice.

Evaluating the final results of the competition for excellent legal reporters and propagandists, Mr. Hoang Quoc Hao affirmed: The competition was a great success with high professional quality, contributing to the dissemination, popularization and education of law to all classes of people.

The final round had 22 teams participating with elaborate and lively introductions through skits and rich folk songs. The knowledge competition was performed well by the teams, most of them answered correctly. In the skills competition, many propagandists left many good impressions, demonstrating their excellent ability to propagate, disseminate and educate the law.

At the award ceremony, 4 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their work in organizing the contest. The Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 6 Consolation Prizes to the teams. The First Prize for the collective went to the Provincial Police Department; 2 Second Prizes went to Hung Nguyen District and the Department of Transport; 3 Third Prizes went to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and Vinh City.

Regarding individuals, there were 6 prizes including 3 third prizes, 2 second prizes and 1 first prize belonging to Ms. Ho Thi Huyen from Hung Nguyen district.
