Nghe An Police: Rewarding Project Team G0413

(Baonghean.vn) -On May 6, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police organized an award ceremony for the G0413 Task Force for solving the murder and robbery case that occurred in Block 9, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City on April 24. The victim was Nguyen The Thi (born in 1983), residing in Hamlet 8, Nghi My Commune, Nghi Loc District, a worker at Vinh City Urban Environment Company.

After 8 days of establishing a special case, the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes of Nghe An Province Police in coordination with Vinh City Police and a number of professional units investigated and clarified the acts of "Murder and robbery" of Ho Manh Cuong (born in 1989), residing in Hung Binh Ward and Ho Van Linh (born in 1990), residing in Block 6, Cua Nam Ward, (Vinh City). The seized evidence included 1 Samsung Galaxy phone, 1 sharp pair of scissors and 1 motorbike.

Through the struggle, the two subjects confessed that on the night of April 24, 2013, Cuong and Linh invited each other to rob property. When riding a motorbike to Mai Hac De street, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, they saw Nguyen The Thi sitting on the side of the road talking on the phone. The two subjects threatened and robbed Thi of his phone. When Thi fought back, the two subjects used scissors they had hidden on their person to stab Thi once in the neck and then fled. Due to the severe injuries, Thi died shortly after.

Although the case occurred in the middle of the night, there were almost no changes at the scene, the victim relationships were numerous and complicated..., but with the efforts of the participating units, the Special Task Force quickly investigated, clarified, arrested the perpetrator and seized all the evidence of the case.
