Nghe An police coordinated to arrest a subject transporting 12 heroin cakes.
(Baonghean.vn) - Initially, Linh confessed that this amount of drugs belonged to a Taiwanese person who hired Linh to transport them to Ho Chi Minh City for 100 million VND.
On the morning of November 15, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police announced that they had just coordinated to arrest a subject transporting 12 heroin cakes from Ha Tinh to Ho Chi Minh City for sale.
At about 6:30 p.m. on November 14, 2021, on National Highway 8A, passing through Ha Chua village, Son Tay commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with Ha Tinh Provincial Police and Ha Tinh Customs Department to arrest Tran Nguyen Hong Linh (born in 1992), residing in Hoa Binh village, Ky Phong commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province, while transporting 12 heroin cakes by motorbike from the border area (in Son Kim 1 commune to Tay Son town, Huong Son district to continue transporting to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption.

It is known that Tran Nguyen Hong Linh currently has no stable job, the subject has 2criminal recordand released from prison in 2020, related to drugs. Recently, the subject often appeared in Vinh city, Nghe An province, showing signs of economic uncertainty and signs of suspected illegal drug trafficking, so the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police established a special project to fight.
On November 14, 2021, after receiving information that Tran Nguyen Hong Linh took a bus to Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province to buy drugs, the Task Force conducted surveillance. When the subject rode a motorbike to the border area of Son Kim 1 commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province and then returned at high speed with many suspicious signs, the Task Force coordinated with forces from Ha Tinh Provincial Police and Ha Tinh Customs Department to inspect and arrest Linh along with the above heroin.

At the Investigation Agency, Tran Nguyen Hong Linh initially confessed that this amount of drugs was hired by a Taiwanese subject (unknown origin) to transport to Ho Chi Minh City for 100,000,000 VND. Currently, the case is being further investigated.
