Nghe An Police visited and gave Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and orphans and disabled children
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 5, a working delegation of Nghe An Provincial Police led by Colonel Tran Hong Quang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nam and orphans and disabled children at the Provincial Social Work Center.
In Thanh Chuong district, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nam residing in Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nam (born in 1927), had two sons who were martyrs and heroically sacrificed their lives during the resistance war against the US to save the country. To express gratitude for her great contributions and to share the pain and loss of Mother Nguyen Thi Nam and her family, in 2017, the Provincial Police Department took care of her for life, supporting and caring for her.

On the same day, the delegation visited and presented 30 gifts to 30 children at the Provincial Social Work Center. This amount of money was voluntarily contributed by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police with the desire to contribute to bringing the children a warmer and more complete Tet.

Visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious services and those in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet is an annual activity of Nghe An Police, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the tradition of "Helping each other".
