(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 17th, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department held a conference to implement the 2015 recruitment plan for the People's Police Force. Attending the conference were Colonel Ho Van Tu - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, along with representatives from several professional departments and the police forces of the districts, cities, and towns.

According to the Personnel Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police, in 2014, the training and recruitment of People's Police officers were implemented by the Nghe An Provincial Police in accordance with regulations and ensured the standards of the police force.

Regarding the 2015 admissions process, police academies will not hold entrance exams but will use the results of the national high school graduation exam for selection; there are no restrictions on female students applying for admission to police universities, colleges, and vocational schools; regarding academic qualifications, applicants must have graduated from high school or equivalent; and have achieved an average academic performance and good conduct in their high school years or equivalent, as indicated in their transcripts, without specifying the final grade for each subject.

Vision requirements: Applicants with myopia will continue to be considered for admission to People's Public Security schools, but they must have a diagnosis from a provincial-level hospital or a specialized eye hospital stating that the condition is treatable and must commit to treatment during the preliminary selection process. Those who are accepted and receive an admission notice from a People's Public Security school must undergo eye treatment to ensure their vision meets the required standards before enrollment, with a total visual acuity of 19/20 or higher in both eyes. Applicants must also meet health, conduct, and political standards.

At the conference, Colonel Ho Van Tu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, requested that police units consider the recruitment of police officers as a crucial strategic task in building the police force. Unit leaders must focus on close supervision, regularly inspect and monitor the process, assign capable and highly responsible officers to carry out the task, and create all favorable conditions for students to register for the recruitment process.
