Nghe An Police commended collectives and individuals with high achievements in competitions, contests and the fight against crime.

Attending the ceremony on the afternoon of November 11, on behalf of the provincial delegates, there was comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Delegates of the Provincial Police included Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police; comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police; leaders of the Police of units and localities, heads of departments and organizations of the Provincial Police and collectives and individuals who were commended and awarded.

In recent times, with the high determination, efforts and endeavors of the leadership, officers and soldiers, Nghe An Provincial Police have achieved many feats and outstanding achievements in competitions, competitions, sports and festivals organized by the Central Government and Nghe An Province as well as in the fight against crime, ensuring security and order in the area.

In particular, the 4th Political Writing Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024, organized by the Central Steering Committee 35, Nghe An Police was honored to have 1 work winning the national C prize. Regarding the 6th Competition of Public Security Regulations, Military and Martial Arts, the 9th "For National Security" Sports Congress organized by the Ministry of Public Security, in the competition table of Region IV with the participation of 20 teams from Public Security units, localities and Public Security schools, Nghe An Police team excellently won the second prize for the whole group; 4 individuals won medals in the competitions, of which Colonel Tran Hong Quang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police won 1 Gold Medal in shooting; 6 events won the second prize for the team and the first prize for men's football, continuing to participate in the national final round in 2025.

Regarding the writing contest "Learning about the Law on Identification in the People's Public Security", Nghe An Provincial Police had 3 winning entries. Regarding the 4th National Excellent Reporter Contest in 2024 organized by the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Nghe An Provincial Police had 1 individual winning the second prize overall, 1 consolation prize for the contestant with the best situation handling; at the same time, he was the only contestant representing the People's Public Security force to make it into the top 10 best contestants at the Contest.

Regarding the 2024 "Excellent Grassroots Women's Union Cadres" Competition of the Public Security Forces, 1 individual and the Nghe An Provincial Police team excellently won the A prize for the entire delegation. Participating in the Provincial Excellent Women's Reporter Competition, 1 individual won the First Prize; 1 individual won the Second Prize in the Provincial Excellent Youth Reporter and Propagandist Competition.

Regarding the 2024 Provincial Online Competition "Learning New Legal Documents", Nghe An Police excellently won the collective First Prize and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; 1 individual won the First Prize, 1 individual won the Second Prize and 3 individuals won the Encouragement Prize. At the 1st Expanded People's Police Trade Union Sports Festival in 2024, the Provincial Police team excelled in 10 events with medals (1 First Prize, 5 Second Prizes and 4 Third Prizes).

Also at the ceremony, collectives and individuals were awarded for their outstanding achievements in the fight against crime and ensuring security and order in the area. Specifically, 1 collective and 7 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; 4 collectives were awarded by the Ministry of Public Security for their achievements in crime prevention; 1 collective and 1 individual were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Public Security. The Provincial Police Director also awarded collectives with outstanding achievements in the fight against crime.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department commended and highly appreciated the results and achievements of the collectives and individuals in all aspects of work; at the same time, he emphasized that the above results demonstrated the efforts, attempts, and high determination, meeting the expectations of the Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police Department and Party committees and leaders of units and localities.

The Director requested that in the coming time, officers and soldiers continue to promote their abilities and strengths, actively practice, and strive to improve their achievements and achieve more outstanding results.
