Nghia Dan district has an area of ​​617.5 km², population of over 140,000 people living in 23 communes and towns; is considered one of the key areas of complex security and order in the province. In the trend of rapid and strong development of society, with the participation of many businesses investing in the locality, Nghia Dan is more vulnerable to negative factors, potentially increasing the risk of all types of crime.

Faced with that situation, with the close direction of the Nghe An Police Party Committee, the attention of the province and district, the Nghia Dan District Police Party Committee has constantly made efforts, innovated and created to carry out the task of preserving and protecting peace for the people.

The Resolution of the 9th Congress of the District Police Party Committee, term 2015 - 2020, set out 12 key targets for the entire term. Overcoming difficulties posed by reality, in the 2015 - 2020 term, the Nghia Dan District Police Party Committee effectively advised on the implementation of directives, resolutions and policies of higher levels; developed and issued more than 225 documents directing the implementation of political tasks, and at the same time led the District Police to develop and implement 123 plans and documents on ensuring security and order...

In the work of ensuring social order and safety, the Party Committee and leaders of the unit have proactively and synchronously deployed preventive measures, combated all types of crimes and social evils, curbed the rate of crime increase, ensured stability of social order and safety and traffic safety in the area; prevented crimes operating in the style of "mafia" gangs, prevented the emergence of areas and gathering places with complicated security and order issues. In the field of combating and preventing crimes against social order and safety, 307/341 cases have been investigated and clarified (reaching 90%).

During the term, the Party Committee focused on directing breakthroughs in the fight, arresting 111 cases and 118 subjects violating the law on economic management order, positions and environment, an increase of 36 cases (32.4%), an increase of 39 subjects (33.05% compared to the previous term); of which 06 special cases were established and successfully solved, 9 cases and 13 defendants were prosecuted; 2 cases and 3 defendants were arrested and prosecuted for corruption, positions, and State assets were recovered with the amount of 90 million VND.

The State management of national security and order has made many efforts and innovations in terms of content, measures and methods, focusing on the grassroots level, better serving the legitimate needs and aspirations of the people. In addition, the movement of the entire people protecting national security and order, linking the building of the people's security posture with the national defense posture has been raised to a new level. The district police have consolidated and maintained the operation of 27 advanced models and typical examples in the movement of the entire people protecting national security and order, including building and expanding 12 new advanced models and typical examples...

comprehensive and profound innovation

In political and ideological work, the Party Committee and the Command of Nghia Dan District Police continue to promote innovation in content and methods, further enhancing the combativeness, persuasiveness and effectiveness of propaganda work on studying Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, policies and laws of the State. Effectively implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Central Executive Committee in conjunction with Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee.

Promote the role and responsibility of cadres and party members, especially key cadres and unit leaders, always uphold the exemplary vanguard role of cadres and party members through specific and practical actions to build people's trust and prestige in the Party, contributing to building a "Clean and Strong" Party organization.

Pay attention to and focus on the training and development of party members; propose to admit 28 comrades to the party, recognize 16 probationary party members as official party members; mobilize 69 cadres and soldiers to take up the positions of commune police and police officers in 23/23 communes and towns, reaching 100%. From the practical implementation of the goals of the Congress Resolution for the 2015-2020 term, the lesson learned by the Party Committee of Nghia Dan District Police is to innovate and flexibly apply the policies and Resolutions of the higher-level Party Committees to specific contexts. Innovate the work of organization, direction and operation; grasp the policies firmly, closely follow the reality; strictly implement the slogan of action "Proactive, disciplined, strengthened, responsible".
