Police and military personnel in Nghia Dan commune promptly rescued a herd of pigs from the floodwaters.
On September 29th, heavy and prolonged rainfall due to Typhoon No. 10 caused severe flooding in Nghia Dan commune. Many households were isolated by floodwaters, including the family of Mr. Le Duy Chung, whose herd of 270 pigs, worth approximately 1.5 billion VND, faced the risk of significant losses.

Faced with the urgent situation, the police and military of Nghia Dan commune mobilized officers, soldiers, and vehicles, coordinating with local people to organize rescue efforts and relocate the entire herd of pigs out of the deeply flooded area. Despite heavy rain and rising floodwaters, the officers and soldiers did not hesitate to face the danger, using rafts and rudimentary means to transport each pig to safety.

Mr. Le Duy Chung's family lost 40 out of 270 pigs in the flood, resulting in a loss of nearly 200 million VND. However, thanks to the decisive efforts of the authorities and relevant forces, the remaining 230 pigs were promptly relocated, helping Mr. Le Duy Chung's family minimize their losses.
