Que Phong police give cows to poor households

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 21, Que Phong District Police presented cows to poor households in Que Son commune.

Que Son is a commune registered to reach the new rural target in 2018 of Que Phong district. Up to now, the commune has completed 15 criteria. The remaining 3 criteria are poor households, community cultural houses and rural housing, which have not been completed. To accelerate the plan to reach the new rural target, Que Phong district calls on each agency and unit to help 1 poor household.

Accordingly, Que Phong district police called on officers and soldiers in the unit to donate a day's salary to buy a cow for the family of Ms. Ho Thi Len, hamlet 1, Que Son commune, with a total value of 12 million VND.

Len's family life is very difficult, her husband works in construction every day, and her wife washes dishes for the restaurant. Without any rice fields or garden land, the family has to borrow public land from the neighborhood to build a house for a period of 5 years. With the gift, her family has the opportunity to develop livestock farming and move towards escaping poverty./.
