For example, on May 17, 2025, Tran Tuan Anh broke into a resident's house in Thanh Vinh ward, then used a hammer to break open the safe in the bedroom and stole 13 taels of gold and 3 million VND in cash. On October 15, 2025, Tran Tuan Anh broke into a resident's house in Truong Vinh ward, broke open the safe, and stole gold and cash worth more than 30 million VND.

Tran Tuan Anh has many tricks to deal with the police. After a period of monitoring, on October 19, 2025, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Police Department; Provincial Police Command Center; Police of Vinh Loc, Truong Vinh, Thanh Vinh and Vinh Hung wards to successfully fight the case, arresting Tran Tuan Anh for property theft.
