(Baonghean.vn) - On August 12, representatives of Nghe An Provincial Police visited, presented gifts and flowers to congratulate monks, nuns, Buddhists and Buddhists of Can Mon Pagoda (Hoang Mai Town); An Thai, Dong Yen (Quynh Luu) on the occasion of Vu Lan Festival, Buddhist calendar 2560 - Gregorian calendar 2016.

At the places they visited, the leaders of the Provincial Police warmly visited and congratulated the Venerables in charge of Buddhism in the districts, and sent their best wishes to the monks, nuns, and Buddhists of the pagodas on the occasion of the Vu Lan festival of filial piety in 2016. They praised the spirit of solidarity of the monks, nuns, and Buddhists who joined hands with the government to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, live a good life and uphold the nation's fine traditions during the Vu Lan festival, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and safety of the locality.

The abbots of the pagodas expressed their gratitude for the attention of the Party and government leaders at all levels; at the same time, they will organize the Vu Lan ceremony to show their gratitude in a thoughtful, safe and orderly manner, demonstrating the morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water, reminding everyone with practical actions to repay the kindness of parents, grandparents and ancestors, continuing to propagate and mobilize people to live a good life, increase production, and join hands to build the homeland to be more and more prosperous.
