Provincial police give gifts to the poor and students on the occasion of Lunar New Year
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Internal Political Security Department and the Provincial Police Youth Union held meaningful activities for the poor and students in difficult circumstances in Tuong Duong and Ky Son.
* On January 20, responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary on supporting and helping poor households to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021, with the spirit of "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind",Internal Political Security DepartmentNghe An Police coordinated with a number of businesses and philanthropists to visit and give gifts in Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district.

Here, the delegation presented 10 gifts and 500,000 VND to the elderly, 20 gifts and 1 million VND to families in especially difficult circumstances; 120 warm cotton blankets, 110 boxes of powdered milk, 1,000 notebooks for students, 10 puzzle sets, 100 library books, 1 set of drums to serve the teaching and learning activities of the school with a total value of 120 million VND.
* On January 19 and 20, 2021, the working delegation ofProvincial Police Youth UnionTogether with the "Journey of Love" group of Can Tho city, they organized the program "Spring of Love". On this occasion, the group visited teachers and students of Muong Long 1 and Muong Long 2 Primary Schools, Muong Long commune, Ky Son border district.

Sharing with teachers and students, the delegation presented the school and students with 40 gifts for poor but excellent students, 120 school bags, 105 warm blankets, water purifiers and many other gifts with a total value of 60 million VND.
