Vinh City police fined 66 teenagers for not wearing helmets.
These are the statistics from the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police Department, for the 4-day holiday period.
According to statistics from the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police, during the four-day National Day holiday (from August 31st to September 3rd), the team issued fines to 66 individuals for not wearing helmets while riding motorcycles. Notably, all 66 cases involved teenagers.

According to officers from the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police: Wearing a helmet is not only a responsibility and obligation of each individual, but also reflects awareness and culture when participating in traffic. However, a segment of the population, especially young people, students, and teenagers, do not wear helmets when participating in traffic. This means violating the law and disregarding the dangers that may occur to themselves.
Therefore, in the coming period, especially at the beginning of the new school year, along with coordinating with schools to implement extracurricular awareness sessions on traffic safety laws for officials, teachers, and students in the area, the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police will continue to strengthen patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations, while also sending notifications to schools for coordinated handling.
