Police returned 10 stolen motorbikes to the people
(Baonghean.vn) - Thanh Chuong District Police have just organized the return of stolen property to 10 people.
Recently, in Thanh Chuong district, the situation of property theft, especially motorbike theft, has been very complicated. Taking advantage of the negligence of vehicle owners, the subjects used pliers to break the lock to steal motorbikes. In this situation, on August 9, 2017, the district police established a special project to fight and eradicate it.
Through the investigation process and the synchronous use of professional measures, on August 15, 2017, Thanh Chuong District Police urgently arrested 02 subjects, Le Dinh Tuan, born in 1987 and Le Huy Dat, born in 1995, both residing in Hamlet 7, Hanh Lam Commune, Thanh Chuong District for the act of "Theft of property".

Initially, the Task Force investigated and clarified 07 cases of property theft in the district, including 06 cases of motorbike theft and 01 case of chainsaw theft, with a total value of about 100 million VND.
Accordingly, since the end of July 2017, because they had no jobs, Tuan and Dat decided to steal property to have money to spend. On July 24, 2017, Tuan and Dat went to Hamlet 1, Thanh My Commune, Thanh Chuong District and discovered in the garage a HADOSIVA brand motorbike, brown, license plate: 60H1-6092 belonging to Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa residing in Thanh My Commune, Thanh Chuong District.
Seeing the key already in the ignition, Tuan and Dat started the engine and drove to the motorbike repair shop of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh (residing in Hamlet 3, Thanh Hoa Commune, Thanh Chuong District), selling the stolen motorbike to Mr. Minh for 800,000 VND. With this method, Tuan and Dat continued to commit 5 thefts in the district. The two subjects spent all the money from selling the stolen motorbikes.
Expanding the investigation, Thanh Chuong District Police continued to arrest two subjects, Nguyen Trong Tho (born in 1983, residing in Block 1, Thanh Chuong Town) and Phan Van Thuan (born in 1989, residing in Van Ngoc Hamlet, Thanh Khai Commune) to clarify four motorbike theft cases.

After the investigation and clarification, the district police proceeded to recover assets at motorbike repair shops and pawnshops. The seized evidence included 10 motorbikes and 1 chainsaw.
On the morning of September 28, Thanh Chuong District Police completed procedures and handed over property to 10 people who had their property stolen and were living in the district.
