(Baonghean.vn) - Working with the police, Ms. Nghia admitted to forcing the female intern to kneel and apologize and then assaulting her.

On March 23, Vinh City Police said that the unit had summoned Ms. Phan Thi Nghia (35 years old, Trung Do ward) to take her statement to clarify her act of breaking into the Vietnam - Laos Kindergarten to assault an intern student.

Working with the police, Ms. Nghia admitted to forcing the female student to kneel and apologize, then assaulting her. Ms. Nghia said she "felt remorseful" after the incident. Vinh City police said that in the next few days, they will ask the female student to undergo a disability assessment to strengthen the case against this parent.

According to Nghe An Reproductive Health Care Center, after one day of treatment, the female student’s mental state improved and her abdominal pain was relieved. The patient was 13 weeks pregnant and the placenta was at risk of detachment, so she needed to be closely monitored.

Earlier, on the morning of March 22, a parent named Nghia whose child was studying at the Vietnam-Laos Kindergarten came to the school to curse and assault a 21-year-old female student who was in her 5th week of internship at the school because she thought that this person had beaten her child, leaving her leg bruised. After threatening and forcing the student to kneel down and apologize, despite being stopped by several other teachers and warned that the female student was pregnant, Ms. Nghia still attacked.

After the incident, reporters repeatedly contacted the leaders of the Vietnam-Laos Kindergarten, but the school refused to provide any information. “We have provided all the information to the police. We are very busy at the moment and do not have time to talk to the press,” a school leader said.

According to information from the police, the school's board of directors denied causing the bruise on the child's leg, claiming that the parents had misunderstood.

The incident is still under investigation.
