On November 26, the leader of the Lo 25 Commune Police (Thong Nhat District, Dong Nai) said that he had just come to the house to apologize to Mr. Nguyen Truong H. (33 years old, residing in Song Nhan Commune, Cam My District, Dong Nai Province) for the police and militia stopping his car and taking away his keys for no reason.
Previously, at around 10 p.m. on November 13, Mr. H was riding a motorbike on the Trang Bom-Thong Nhat inter-district road (Dong Nai) when suddenly 3 militiamen and 2 police officers of Lo 25 commune stopped his motorbike for an administrative check.
When he saw that this group of people did not have name tags, did not show any documents proving that they were police officers on duty, and did not state the reason for stopping the car, Mr. H. did not agree to show his documents.
Then, one of the people who blocked the car took Mr. H's car key and the group got on a motorbike and left. Because he didn't have the key, Mr. H had to walk his motorbike nearly 10 km home in the middle of the night. The incident was recorded by Mr. H using his phone and posted on social media.
