Yen Thanh police arrest 12 people for gambling.

(Baonghean.vn) –Today, April 19th, the police in Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province) caught 12 individuals red-handed gambling using the dice game "xoc dia".

The individuals arrested at the home of Vo Ngoc Hoanh (born in 1974, residing in Hamlet 10, Tho Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District) include: Vo Ngoc Hoanh (the homeowner), Nguyen Ho Thiet (1983), Truong Manh Hung (1977), Nguyen Ba Su (1992), Phan Van Can (1978), Nguyen Van Huong (1985), Tran Dinh Huong (1985), Nguyen Hoai Thanh (1980), Nguyen Van Yen (1986), Vo Van Trong (1995), Vo Van Phuc (1978), and Nguyen Huu Xuyen (1978). All 12 individuals are from Tho Thanh Commune and their main occupation is agriculture.

The gamblers were arrested this morning, April 19, 2012.

At the scene, police seized a set of dishes, four double-sided dice, two plastic mats, four motorbikes, nine mobile phones, and nearly 35 million VND.

Previously, on April 11, 2012, the Yen Thanh Police also caught 15 individuals red-handed gambling using the dice-shaking method in Phu Thanh commune.
