Top 10 Vietnamese specialty fruits with high economic value have been announced.

These fruits have been registered by the Vietnam Book of Records Center with the Asian and World Records Centers to open up more channels for promoting Vietnamese fruits to foreign markets.

On August 7th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Book of Records Center announced the 10 fruits with the highest economic value (including domestic consumption and export) out of a total of 50 famous fruit specialties in Vietnam, such as: wild apple (Son La), Doan Hung pomelo (Phu Tho), Huong Son apricot (Hanoi), lychee (Hai Duong), longan (Hung Yen), coconut (Ben Tre), Lo Ren star apple (Tien Giang), honey orange (Can Tho), etc.

All of them have been granted "Trademark Registration Certificates" by the Intellectual Property Office under the Ministry of Science and Technology and have become reputable brands in both domestic and international markets.

Currently, Vietnam has approximately 776,000 hectares of land dedicated to fruit tree cultivation, encompassing hundreds of varieties of fruits with high nutritional value. With an annual production of 7-8 million tons, Vietnam is one of the countries with the largest fruit tree cultivation area in the region.

The 50 aforementioned specialty fruits have been registered by the Vietnam Book of Records Center with the Asian and World Records Centers to open up more channels for promoting Vietnamese fruits to foreign markets.
