Announcing the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hoang Muoi Temple Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - Hoang Muoi Temple Festival is held annually to preserve, maintain and promote the cultural values of the nation, demonstrate the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water and meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of people and tourists from all over.
On the morning of November 6 (the 10th day of the 10th lunar month), Hung Nguyen district solemnly held the opening ceremony of Hoang Muoi Temple Festival 2019 and announced the National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nong Quoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Heritage - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of provincial departments, branches, and districts inside and outside the province.

In the solemn atmosphere of the opening ceremony of the Hoang Muoi Temple Festival 2019, the Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 2970/QD - BVHTTDL signed on August 27, 2019 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and awarded the Certificate of recognition of the Hoang Muoi Temple Festival in Hung Thinh commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Hoang Muoi Temple in Xuan Am hamlet, Hung Thinh commune, was built in the post-Le dynasty (17th century). The temple is located on a crane-shaped land next to Moc river, so it is also called "Crane-beak spiritual temple".
The temple worships the gods of fortune in the Vietnamese Mother Goddess worship, including the main character, Mr. Hoang Muoi. In addition, the temple also worships other gods of fortune such as: Phuc Quan Cong Trinh Trung, Special Envoy to the Country, General Nguyen Duy Lac, Song Dong Ngoc Nu...

Hoang Muoi Temple has been recognized as a provincial-level Historical-Cultural Relic. The temple still preserves 21 royal decrees bestowed by Vietnamese feudal dynasties.
