Ford EcoSport 2016 pricing announced.

Ford has officially announced the pricing for its compact SUV, the EcoSport, with a starting price of £14,245.

The first new Ford EcoSport models will soon be available to UK customers with a starting price of £14,245 and three engine options: a 1.0L Ecoboost, a 1.5L, and a 1.5L TDCi diesel engine.

The official price for the new Ford EcoSport has been announced.

In terms of appearance, the updated EcoSport removes the spare tire from the rear. This makes the car look more streamlined and also moves the rear door hinges upwards, making it easier to load luggage. The current EcoSport has a side-opening tailgate. Customers can still choose to mount the spare tire on the outside of the vehicle if desired.

Additionally, notable features on the updated EcoSport include the Deep Impact Blue exterior color, custom 17-inch wheels, a black roof and black mirror caps, privacy glass, and a rear diffuser.

Meanwhile, inside the cabin, Ford made minor changes, including a chrome-trimmed instrument cluster, a dimming function for the headlights, and chrome accents on the window control knobs. Soundproofing materials were also added to the doors and dashboard.

In terms of equipment, the American automaker is introducing the Winter Pack, which includes a heated windshield, heated rearview mirrors, and heated front seats. The EcoSport will also feature a satellite navigation system and a rearview camera.

Ford also paid attention to the driving characteristics of the compact SUV by offering customizable suspension. Despite being an SUV, the EcoSport is now 10 mm lower to improve handling. The electronic stability control and electronic power steering systems have also been optimized by Ford.
