Awards Announced at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival
After 12 days (from May 12-24) taking place in France, the organizing committee of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival has selected the best candidates to present awards.

The film about the plight of refugees coming to France “Dheepan” won the most prestigious award, the Palme d'Or, at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
The Best Director award went to Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-Hsien for his martial arts action film “The Assassin.”
French actor Vincent Lindon won the Best Actor award for his role as a job seeker in the film “The Measure of a Man.”
In the Best Actress category, the jury decided to give the honor to two actors: Rooney Mara in the American film “Carol” and Emmanuelle Bercot in “Mon Roi.”
Awards at the Film Festival:
Palme d'Or: Dheepan - directed by Jacques Audiard
Grand Prize: Son Of Saul - director Laszlo Nemes.
Best Director: Hou Hsiao-Hsien - The Assassin.
Best Actor: Vincent Lindon - The Measure Of A Man.
Jury Prize: The Lobster – directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
Best Actress: Rooney Mara - Carol and Emmanuelle Bercot - Mon Roi.
Best Screenplay: Michel Franco - Chronic.
Honorable Mention: Agnès Varda.
Camera d'Or: La Tierra Y La Sombra - directed by César Augusto Acevdeo.
Palme d'Or for Short Film: Waves 98 - directed by Ely Dagher.
According to Vietnam+
