Russia investigation findings to be announced this weekend
Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report on his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election to the US Department of Justice.
In a letter to the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate judiciary committees, Attorney General William Barr said that Special Counsel Mueller has concluded his investigation into Russia's role in the 2016 US presidential election and related matters.
Attorney General William Barr also said he would notify Congress of the conclusions of Mueller's report as early as this weekend. The conclusions are expected to be made public later.

Mueller's report was sent to the Office of the Deputy Attorney General and forwarded to Attorney General William Barr on the afternoon of March 22 (US time). The US Justice Department then notified both the White House and Congress.
No details of the report on the investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russian election interference or whether President Trump himself attempted to obstruct justice have been released. Attorney General William Barr said he would consider what information could be released.
