Announcing the results of the survey on issues raised during the Provincial People's Council session.
(Baonghean.vn) - The year-end session of the 17th Provincial People's Council raised questions on three groups of topical issues that have caused much public concern. Baonghean.vn conducted a survey to gather readers' opinions on solutions and directions for these pressing issues.
The three main issues raised during the provincial People's Council meeting included: the implementation of the VNEN model and the socialization of education; outstanding social insurance debts and overspending of the health insurance fund; and planning, licensing, and management of construction. These issues are closely linked to current events such as: parents submitting petitions protesting the implementation of the VNEN new school model, the excessive fees charged by schools under the guise of socialization, and most recently, the fatal collapse of a construction tower crane that exposed numerous irregularities in construction licensing.
The survey was conducted from 3 PM on December 14th, when the Provincial People's Council session entered the group discussion phase. By 5:30 PM on December 15th, after the three questioning sessions on the aforementioned issues concluded, Nghe An Newspaper compiled the results of the reader survey as follows:

Many dedicated readers have sent in their opinions and feedback on shortcomings in practice. For example, regarding the implementation of the VNEN model, some opinions do not oppose it but suggest that it should only be implemented in schools and localities that meet the conditions for educational quality, and that thorough training should be provided before implementation.
Given the overspending of the health insurance fund, many opinions call for transparency in the listing of medical examination and treatment service prices, as well as inspections and demands for reimbursement of improper payments.
Regarding the socialization of education, although 75.12% of surveyed readers agreed with the proposal to set fees based on regional conditions, many also expressed a desire to revert to the previous method of collecting construction fees to ensure fairness in the educational environment.
During the questioning session on the afternoon of December 15th, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, concluded: Temporarily suspend the expansion of the VNEN model in Nghe An. This decision coincides with the wishes of the vast majority of readers participating in the survey.
