Announcing the results of the inspection of the assets of the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Yen Bai in August
On the morning of July 17, Mr. Pham Trong Dat - Director of the Anti-Corruption Department (Government Inspectorate) said that he had finished a direct inspection at the People's Committee of Yen Bai province regarding the assets and income of Mr. Pham Sy Quy - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

According to Mr. Pham Trong Dat, the inspection team of the Anti-Corruption Department is currently in the process of drafting the inspection conclusion in accordance with regulations.
Refusing to disclose all the information obtained through the inspection, Mr. Pham Trong Dat affirmed that the Government Inspectorate will make the conclusion public for public information. The inspection conclusion is expected to be announced in early August.
As Dan Tri reported earlier, in the 2016 asset and income declaration publicly posted at the Yen Bai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Pham Sy Quy said he owns the first house in Group 51, Minh Tan Ward (grade 3 construction) with a construction area of 600 m2. The second house in the Mandarin Garden apartment complex (Tran Duy Hung Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi) is over 130 m2 wide.2with a value at the time of construction of 2.5 billion VND and has a certificate of ownership.

In addition, Mr. Quy's family has a temporary house with a construction area of 150 m2, worth 200 million VND; owns a 1,000 m2 plot of land.2worth 500 million VND; 2-hectare farm worth 1 billion VND and currently using a Camry car.
Mr. Quy declared that his total income in 2016 converted into Vietnamese currency increased by 1 billion VND and this was income from sources from the farm inherited from his parents in 2016.
After Mr. Pham Sy Quy answered the press about borrowing 20 billion VND from the bank to build a magnificent mansion, the inspection team of the Anti-Corruption Department asked Mr. Quy to explain this matter.
Responding to Dan Tri reporter at the time of the announcement of the inspection decision (June 27), Mr. Pham Trong Dat affirmed that "there was no pressure" when inspecting the assets of the younger brother of Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
“The Chairman of Yen Bai province sent an official dispatch requesting the Government Inspectorate to intervene, showing that they are very open-minded and objective. They proactively asked the Government and the Central Government for help, so I think it is a transparent and objective action. Whoever does it will be responsible, I think that is appropriate,” said Mr. Dat.
According to Decision No. 1614/QD-TTCP dated June 26, 2017, the inspection team of the Anti-Corruption Department (Government Inspectorate) will conduct an inspection of land management, construction licensing and construction management according to the license of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province for the land plot at Group 42, Group 52, Minh Tan Ward, Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province related to the household of Ms. Hoang Thi Hue - wife of Mr. Pham Sy Quy; compliance with the law on anti-corruption for those who are obliged to declare related to the land plot at Group 42, Group 52, Minh Tan Ward of Ms. Hoang Thi Hue's family.
Inspection period is 15 actual working days from the date of announcement of the inspection decision (June 27). Inspection period is from January 1, 2010 to June 2017, when necessary, before and after the above period can be considered.
The Inspection Team consists of 6 members led by Mr. Pham Trong Dat - Director of the Anti-Corruption Department.
