Announcement of the results of the provincial excellent student competition for the 2014-2015 school year.

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, March 30th, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training officially announced the results of the provincial excellent student competition for the 2014-2015 school year for grades 9 and 11.

Accordingly, in this year's 9th grade, Nghe An province had 1238 students taking the exam, of which 731 were recognized (599 students were recognized in Group A, achieving a rate of 60.94%; 132 students were recognized in Group B, achieving a rate of 51.76%).

Regarding the awards: 37 students won first prize, 142 won second prize, 264 won third prize, and 288 received consolation prizes. The results are ranked as follows: Group A: first place: Vinh City, followed by the districts of Dien Chau, Cua Lo Town, Anh Son, Quynh Luu, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Yen Thanh, Tan Ky, Hung Nguyen, Hoang Mai Town, Nghi Loc, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, and Thai Hoa Town.

In Group B: First place: Quy Chau district, followed by Con Cuong, Que Phong, Ky Son districts, and finally Tuong Duong district.

In the 11th grade, 2252 students took the exam, of which 1287 were recognized (Table A: 1155 students recognized, achieving a rate of 59.84%; Table B: 98 students recognized, achieving a rate of 43.36%; In the Continuing Education system: 39 students recognized, achieving a rate of 40.63%).

Regarding the awards: there were 58 first prizes, 233 second prizes, 417 third prizes, and 584 consolation prizes. The top 10 schools in Group A are as follows: ranked first: Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, followed by: Cua Lo High School, Do Luong 1 High School, Dien Chau 3 High School, Quynh Luu 4 High School, Nghi Loc 5 High School, Nguyen Xuan On High School, Phan Thuc Truc High School, Huynh Thuc Khang High School, and Quynh Luu 2 High School.

In Group B, ranked first: Quy Chau High School, followed by Con Cuong High School, Tuong Duong 2 High School, Que Phong High School, Tuong Duong 1 High School, Nguyen Truong To High School, Ngo Tri Hoa High School, Ky Son High School, Herman High School and Duy Tan High School.
