Announcing the decision to replace Mr. Tat Thanh Cang as Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee

This afternoon, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's decision to transfer and assign Mr. Tran Luu Quang - former Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Mr. Quang replaced Mr. Tat Thanh Cang, who was disciplined by the Central Executive Committee by being dismissed from the position of member of the 12th Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term at the 9th Central Conference in late December 2018.

Mr. Tran Luu Quang is 52 years old this year, from Tay Ninh, has a master's degree in public management and mechanical engineering.

Before becoming Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, he held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Secretary of Trang Bang District Party Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee.

At the 11th Party Congress, he was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee.
