Announcement of the Prime Minister's decision to appoint officials
The State Bank of Vietnam has just held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's decision to appoint two Deputy Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Prime Minister, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank, presented Decision No. 1898/QD-TTg dated November 11, 2021 of the Prime Minister appointing Comrade Pham Thanh Ha, Director of the Monetary Policy Department, State Bank of Vietnam to hold the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
At the same time, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong presented Decision No. 1899/QD-TTg dated November 11, 2021 of the Prime Minister appointing Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Director of the Payment Department, State Bank of Vietnam to hold the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Congratulating comrade Pham Tien Dung and comrade Pham Thanh Ha on being honored by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong emphasized that the appointment demonstrates the trust of the Central Party Secretariat, Government leaders, and the Prime Minister in comrade Pham Tien Dung and comrade Pham Thanh Ha; at the same time, acknowledging the working process, responsible and effective contributions of the comrades in the work of the Payment Department and the Monetary Policy Department in particular, the work of the State Bank of Vietnam's Board of Directors, as well as the entire banking system in general in the recent past.
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam hopes that Comrade Pham Tien Dung and Comrade Pham Thanh Ha, based on the results and achievements gained in the past time, will continue to strive, promote their knowledge and working experience with the Party Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and units of the State Bank of Vietnam, and the entire system to overcome difficulties and challenges, propose solutions for direction and management suitable to reality, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the Government to the banking sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, new Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dung and new Deputy Governor Pham Thanh Ha expressed their gratitude to the Central Party Secretariat, Government leaders, Prime Minister, Party Committee, State Bank of Vietnam leadership, heads of units under ... for trusting and appreciating the contributions of individuals as well as the collective of the Payment Department and Monetary Policy Department in the past time.
Identifying that the new position is both an honor and a great responsibility, the comrades showed their determination to make every effort to best complete the work assigned and entrusted by the Governor and the State Bank's Board of Directors, and to coordinate well with comrades in the Executive Committee and the State Bank's Board of Directors to complete the common tasks of the industry.

* Comrade Pham Tien Dung was born on April 25, 1970. Hometown: Nam Giang, Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa. Before being appointed as Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, he held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Information Technology Department, State Bank; Representative of 100% State capital at the National Payment Joint Stock Company of Vietnam (Napas) and held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Napas; Director of the Payment Department, State Bank.
* Comrade Pham Thanh Ha, born on November 11, 1973. Hometown: Le Loi, Gia Loc, Hai Duong. Before being appointed to the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank, he held the following positions: Deputy General Director of Vietcombank; Director of the Monetary Policy Department, State Bank of Vietnam.
