On the morning of March 4, in Yen Bai, the Northwest Steering Committee held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's Decision on assigning comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Northwest Steering Committee, as Permanent Deputy Head of the Northwest Steering Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quynh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision on assigning Comrade Hau A Lenh, Deputy Head of the Northwest Steering Committee, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Head of the Northwest Steering Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented the Politburo's Decision to Comrade Hau A Lenh.

On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Head of the Northwest Steering Committee, presented the Politburo's Decision to comrade Hau A Lenh.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized that this is the Central Committee's recognition and appreciation of Comrade Hau A Lenh and hopes that he and other members of the Northwest Steering Committee will continue to make efforts and strive to excellently complete the Committee's heavy tasks in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Hau A Lenh promised to work with the Northwest Steering Committee to enhance solidarity, unanimity, and closely coordinate with central ministries, branches, and provinces in the region so that the Northwest region can develop more strongly in the coming time.

Comrade Hau Anh Lenh, a Mong ethnic, was born in 1973 in Sa Pa district, Lao Cai province. He has held the following positions: Chairman of Sa Pa District People's Committee, Secretary of Sa Pa District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Hau A Lenh was an alternate member of the Party Central Committee of the 10th and 11th terms; a member of the Party Central Committee of the 12th term.
