Announcing the decision to discipline the Secretary and former Secretary of Hau Giang

This morning, the Central Inspection Committee officially announced the decision to discipline Mr. Tran Cong Chanh - Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

At the same time, the decision to discipline Mr. Huynh Minh Chac - former member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term was also announced.

As Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Huynh Minh Chac violated the principle of democratic centralism, procedures, regulations on personnel work and working regulations of the Provincial Party Committee in proposing,Receive Trinh Xuan Thanh from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to Hau Giang province to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and participate in the Provincial Party Committee.

As for Mr. Tran Cong Chanh, Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee, in his position as Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, he is partly responsible for the shortcomings and violations in the proposal to accept Trinh Xuan Thanh from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to become Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee and participate in the Provincial Party Committee;Violations in directing the Provincial Police to issue public license plates to private vehicles for Trinh Xuan Thanh to circulate in violation of regulations.

Mr. Chanh has loosened his leadership and has not strictly implemented the principle of democratic centralism in the activities of the Provincial Party Committee.
