Accordingly, on October 11, 2018, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision 3649/QD-BCT on the establishment of Nghe An Market Management Department under the General Department of Market Management; On October 12, 2018, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision 3854 assigning the Acting Director of Nghe An Market Management Department to Mr. Tran Dang Ninh.

The conference also announced 11 decisions of the General Director of the General Department of Market Management on assigning team leader authority to market management teams.

At the conference, the Department's leaders deployed tasks for all forces in the unit to continue performing tasks and operating according to the new model.

Accordingly, implementing Decision No. 34 of the Prime Minister and the decision of the Minister of Industry and Trade, all seals of the Market Management Department have been issued by the Ministry of Public Security according to the new seal model, and the sanctioning authority of the Market Management force has also increased.

Previously, on August 10, 2018, the Prime Minister signed and issued Decision 34/2018/QD-TTg stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the General Department of Market Management under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Decision takes effect from October 12, 2018.

At the local level, establish a provincial Market Management Department under the General Department, with a district-level Market Management Team under the provincial Market Management Department instead of the current model of a Sub-Department under the Department of Industry and Trade.

Immediately after the Prime Minister signed and issued Decision 34/2018/QD-TTg, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to urgently implement the plan to transfer the status quo of local market management agencies; Sub-departments were organized into provincial-level Departments (63 Departments) and maintained the model of District-level Market Management Teams to ensure stable operations of local market management agencies in the initial stage of establishing the General Department. The transfer will be completed before October 12, 2018.
