Announcement of the decision to reorganize the Inspectorate of Nghe An province.
On the afternoon of June 27th, the Inspectorate of Nghe An province held a ceremony to announce Decision No. 1409/QD-UBND approving the plan for restructuring the Inspectorate of Nghe An province to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective, and effective.
Attending the announcement ceremony was Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also present were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Inspectorate leadership announced Decision No. 1409/QD-UBND of Nghe An province approving the plan for streamlining the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate to be efficient and effective. They also announced the decision to establish the Office and specialized departments of the Provincial Inspectorate, as well as the decisions appointing department leaders.
According to the approved plan: The operations of 12 Department Inspectorates and 20 District Inspectorates will be terminated to reorganize them into organizations under the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate. After streamlining, the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate will have only one entity (the Provincial Inspectorate), reducing the number of entities by 32, achieving a reduction rate of 96.97%.
Regarding the organizational structure: The leadership of the Provincial Inspectorate consists of the Chief Inspector and no more than 4 Deputy Chief Inspectors.
Accordingly, Comrade Chu The Huyen, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, has been appointed as the Chief Inspector of the province. The Deputy Chief Inspectors are Comrades Nguyen Tung Son, Hoang Thanh Linh, and Nguyen Van Chien.
After reorganization, the Provincial Inspectorate was restructured into an Office and 8 specialized departments: Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 1 (Department I); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 2 (Department II); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 3 (Department III); Department of Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Waste, and Negative Practices (Department IV); Department of Monitoring, Supervision, Appraisal and Post-Inspection Handling (Department V); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in the fields of Construction, Finance, and Industry and Trade (Department VI); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in the fields of Education, Health, Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Science and Technology (Department VII); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in the fields of Agriculture, Environment, Internal Affairs, Justice, Ethnic Minorities - Religion, and Foreign Affairs (Department VIII).
The Provincial Inspectorate will have a total of 155 civil servants working in specialized fields after the reorganization (maintaining stability from now until the end of 2030); after the reorganization, when conditions permit, the number of personnel may be adjusted upwards to meet task requirements, but without increasing the total number of personnel in the province as stipulated.
In his remarks assigning the tasks, Comrade Chu The Huyen - Chief Inspector of the province - emphasized: This restructuring of the organizational apparatus marks a strong transformation in organization and operating methods, and is a milestone of special significance in the comprehensive reform of the Inspectorate's operations.
This is not only about implementing the major policies of the Central Government and the province on streamlining the administrative apparatus, but also an opportunity for the Provincial Inspectorate to consolidate and improve its organization, enhance the quality of its staff, and strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency in inspection work, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption and negative practices.
At the ceremony, the Chief Inspector of the province assigned tasks to the specialized departments.
Accordingly, the Provincial Inspectorate Office continues to serve as the central coordinating body, assisting the Provincial Inspectorate leadership in overall direction and management; effectively implementing tasks related to: citizen reception, personnel organization, general affairs, administrative law, administration, finance, accounting, information technology, administrative reform, document management and archiving, emulation and commendation, internal security, public asset management, and implementing policies and regulations for officials, civil servants, and employees, thereby effectively supporting the entire agency's operations.
The specialized departments (from Department I to Department VIII) have gradually affirmed their role as specialized departments; effectively performing their functions of inspection, receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, and preventing corruption and negative practices within their assigned areas and fields; and effectively coordinating post-inspection handling to ensure that inspection conclusions are implemented strictly and accurately.
The departments proactively coordinate, share information, comply with regulations, and closely follow the directives of the Government Inspectorate, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Inspectorate leadership.

In light of the increasingly demanding tasks in the new phase, the Chief Inspector of the province requested all officials and employees of the Provincial Inspection Agency to continue to uphold the tradition of unity and solidarity, create favorable conditions and actively support the newly appointed department leaders in their process of familiarizing themselves with, implementing, and managing their work, and to continue to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to building an open, transparent, honest, and efficient public administration, better serving the people and the sustainable development of the province.
