Announcing the competition rate for admission to specialized high schools in Nghe An in 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the synthesis of registration records for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted this year, the English specialized class is still the class with the highest competition rate with more than 200 registration records.
The entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted in 2019 had 1,254 applications. Of which, the English class had the largest number of applications with 224 applications. In addition to the English class entrance exam, this will also be the basis for admission to the Foreign Language class (English and Japanese).
In the remaining specialized classes, the Chemistry specialized class has the second largest number of applications with 181 applications. Next is the Literature specialized class with 166 applications, the Physics specialized class with 156 applications, the Math specialized class with 153 applications and the Biology specialized class with 129 applications.

In the remaining specialized classes, the Russian specialized class has 54 applications. The number of applications for the French, History, and Geography specialized classes ranges from 28 to 47.
The number of applications to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted this year is about 100 lower than previous years.
This year, the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted is combined with the entrance exam to grade 10. According to the approved plan, in 2019, Phan Boi Chau School will enroll 455 students with 13 specialized classes, each class has a maximum of 35 students.
This is also an exam with many new features when for the first time Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted organizes the same exam with Vinh University High School for the Gifted. Candidates for the Russian Language class will take the Foreign Language test in English instead of Russian (or English) as in previous years.

At Vinh University High School for the Gifted, up to now, there have been nearly 1,500 applications for the exam. Of which, the class with the highest rate of applications is English major with 515 applications. Of the remaining classes, Chemistry major has 216 applications, Physics has 183 applications, Biology major has 104 applications, IT major has 112 applications for the first choice, 2nd choice has 155 applications, Math major has 206 applications and Literature major has 198 applications.
In 2019, Vinh University's specialized school took 1 class for each specialized system. The English specialized class took 2 classes.
