Attending the announcement and decision-giving ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee: Pham Trong Hoang - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Pham Thi Hong Toan - Party Committee Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; and representatives of the leaders of the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office; comrade Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, representatives of the leaders of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies.

Pursuant to the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Pursuant to Regulation No. 1954-QD/TU, dated May 4, 2018 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on decentralization of cadre management and appointment, introduction of candidates, and at the same time considering the proposal of Nghe An Newspaper and the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee; Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 2320-QD/TU, dated September 23, 2018 appointing comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Head of the Current Affairs - Politics Department to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper.

Directly handing over the decision to appoint Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper to comrade Ngo Duc Kien, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council congratulated comrade Ngo Duc Kien on his maturity as well as acknowledged the attention and care for training, fostering and creating an environment for cadres to practice and mature of Nghe An Newspaper.

As the agency of the Party Committee, the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed that Nghe An Newspaper has an important mission in providing political and ideological orientation, and pioneering in the fight against negativity. He said that as a newspaper with great influence, the leadership team of Nghe An Newspaper must be people with outstanding capacity, steadfast character and pure morality.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also hopes that Comrade Ngo Duc Kien will continue to make efforts to train and contribute with the Nghe An Newspaper team to fulfill the mission of the Party newspaper of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. And for the Nghe An Newspaper team, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son also requested that the unit continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and collaboration, building Nghe An Newspaper to develop to a higher level.

Emphasizing that the development requirements as well as the political tasks of the province are very heavy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son hopes that Nghe An Newspaper will closely follow the political tasks of the province to propagate and promote the completion of the goals, targets and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress and Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020.

On behalf of the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper, Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper sincerely thanks the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Xuan Son for always paying attention to leading, directing and accompanying the development of the newspaper, and always placing trust in Nghe An Newspaper in the work of training, fostering, and planning cadres to appoint Deputy Editor-in-Chief from the local cadre source.

Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan also promised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to unite, worry, innovate and be creative to bring the newspaper to a higher level of development, worthy of the title of Heroic Unit in the renovation period, worthy of the responsibility of a newspaper of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province.

Receiving the new assignment, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper Ngo Duc Kien also shared that, besides the honor, there are also great responsibilities, requiring him to strive and make greater efforts to be worthy of the trust and confidence of the organization that has chosen to entrust him with the new position.
