As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, Typhoon No. 2, after making landfall, caused landslides that blocked National Highway 16 in Ta Pan village, Tri Le commune (Que Phong district). The typhoon also knocked down two high-voltage power poles in the area. This is also the reason why the entire Tri Le commune and some villages in Nhon Mai commune (Tuong Duong district) have been without electricity for nearly 10 days.

To resolve the issue, the Que Phong Power Company, after conducting a survey, has begun constructing new power poles to replace the two that had collapsed. The new location is approximately 50 meters from the old one and more than 100 meters from the national highway.
Because there are no means of transporting construction materials up the hill, workers are forced to carry sacks of sand, gravel, cement, etc., up to the collection point. Although progress is slow, this is the only way to continue in the face of persistent rain in western Nghe An province.
