Thai princess conquers Fansipan peak
After taking the cable car up the mountain, Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol continued to climb more than 600 steps to reach the top of Fansipan before returning to Sa Pa to prepare for the marathon as an athlete.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol - a descendant of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, along with members of the Thai Royal Family, had a memorable experience when visiting Fansipan peak by cable car. This was one of the activities of her and the delegation before participating in the 21km international marathon in Sa Pa town (Lao Cai). At exactly 11:30 a.m. on September 23, the princess and her entourage arrived at the tourist area and quickly moved to the cable car station. |

She graduated from medical school, has a doctorate in law from Cornell University, was a prosecutor and participated in many activities of the United Nations health and education projects in Thailand. |
