Vietnamese citizens in France can register their wish to return home with the Vietnamese Embassy here amid the complicated Covid-19 pandemic.

In the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in France and European countries, the Vietnamese Embassy in France officially opened a notice on registration of wishes to return home for Vietnamese citizens, from April 20.

In the context of France extending the lockdown period to prevent and combatCovid-19 epidemic, based on the wishes of many Vietnamese citizens in the host country and to have a basis to propose to the Government to organize Vietnam Airlines flights for citizens from France to return home in the coming time, the Vietnamese Embassy in France opens a registration page for the wish to return home for Vietnamese citizens who have real needs, meet the priorities and are suitable for the quarantine reception capacity in the country.
To register their wish to return home, citizens need to visit the website of the Vietnamese Embassy in France (https://ambassade-vietnam.com/thong-bao-ve-viec-dang-ky-danh-sach-ve-nuoc/). The registration will start from April 20 and will end at 12 noon on April 21.
The registration and approval of citizens wishing to return home will be based on priority groups, including: citizens under 18 years old; citizens over 60 years old with underlying diseases under treatment; pregnant women; citizens who are tourists or visiting relatives whose visas or insurance have expired; citizens who are students who have completed their study program and citizens on short-term business trips whose visas have expired, and workers whose contracts have expired.
Citizens must provide complete and honest information as requested and be responsible for the information provided.
Citizens must pay for their own flight and other necessary expenses (if any); comply with the priority arrangements of the Embassy and competent authorities; arrange their own transportation to the gathering place 1 day before the flight; comply with all regulations on health declaration, quarantine, and monitoring upon return to the country; and provide all valid documents./.
