Nghe An Trade Union launches 'Zero-dong Bus' to support workers with necessities

Faced with the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to quickly control the epidemic, Vinh city has applied social distancing and medical isolation according to Directive 16/CT-TTg. This has significantly affected workers, making their already difficult lives even more difficult. Many workers have to quit their jobs, without income to cover the minimum expenses such as rent, food, etc.

To be timelysupport union members, workers in boarding houses during the difficult period of social distancing, Nghe An Trade Union has implemented the program "Zero-dong Bus" to support necessities to workers' boarding houses.

Accordingly, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union prepared 300 gifts with a total value of nearly 40 million VND, including rice, vegetables, tubers, eggs... to hand to workers in difficult circumstances at the boarding house. Specifically, the delegation gave 15 gifts at the boarding house area of ​​block 34 (located in the blockade area), 28 gifts at the boarding house area of ​​Vinh Xuan block, 33 gifts at the boarding house area of ​​Yen Xa block.
