Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union meets to celebrate 25th anniversary

Attending were comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee,Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; former Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and members of the Standing Committee of the Civil Servants' Trade Union through the periods, along with the staff of the grassroots trade unions under their management.

On July 12, 2000, implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation established the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union with 11 Executive Committee members and 3 members of the Provisional Inspection Committee, 39 grassroots trade unions and more than 3,000 union members who are cadres, civil servants and public employees of administrative agencies and public service units at the provincial level.

After 25 years of construction and development with 5 congresses, up to now,Civil Servants' UnionThere are 49 grassroots unions with more than 4,000 union members. Since its establishment, the Civil Servants' Union and grassroots unions have made important contributions to the country's renovation and the building of a strong union organization.

Specifically, the Provincial Civil Servants' Union has implemented many effective movements and models such as: The campaign to build "Loyal, responsible, honest, creative" cadres, civil servants and public employees; Coordinating the implementation of grassroots democracy, organizing annual conferences of civil servants and public employees; The movement "Civil servants and public employees compete to implement office culture" associated with building agencies and units that meet cultural standards; "Office Culture" contest in 2011; Contest to write proposals for initiatives and solutions to reform administrative procedures in 2007 and 2014; Proposing digital transformation ideas in 2022, etc.

The work of caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members is always focused on, the policies for civil servants and public employees are guaranteed, and the spiritual life of union members is increasingly improved. The annual sports tournament of the Civil Servants' Union and the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies has become a festival for union members...

In addition, the Civil Servants’ Union is also a pioneer in social, humanitarian and charitable activities. Recently, members of the Civil Servants’ Union saved money to contribute to the construction of two houses in Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district with a total cost of 100 million VND.

With practical and effective contributions, the Civil Servants' Trade Union was awarded the emulation flag of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In the context of the political system being restructured and rearranged to suit the trend of the times, the trade union organization also has great changes. Accordingly, the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants’ Trade Union will end its historical role to turn a new page with a new name.

At the conference, reviewing 25 years of formation and development, delegates acknowledged the role and great contributions of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union. In his speech, comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation shared the concerns of the leaders of the Civil Servants' Trade Union through the periods, and at the same time believed that with the new arrangement, the executive committee and grassroots unions of the unit will continue to promote the tradition of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union, striving to build an increasingly strong trade union organization.

Responding to the delegates' sharing, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union expressed his sincere gratitude and affirmed that he would absorb and study to implement the comments in accordance with the situation and characteristics of the new trade union organization, contributing to affirming the role and position of the union.union organizationin the political system.

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation presented the Emulation Flag to Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union, and presented Certificates of Merit to Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union and Ms. Dao Thi Thanh Mai - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024.
