Nghe An Public Employees' Union implements tasks for 2013.
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, January 22nd, the Nghe An Provincial Union of Civil Servants held a conference to implement its work plan for 2013.
Along with strengthening political and ideological education and launching patriotic emulation movements, in 2012, grassroots trade unions made significant contributions to activities such as combating waste, practicing thrift, innovating management methods, strictly enforcing administrative discipline, promoting the use of information technology, and achieving many results in various areas of work. Grassroots trade unions coordinated with professional departments to improve the operation of "One-Stop Shop" and "Integrated One-Stop Shop" transaction centers, which were highly appreciated by the public.

On the other hand, besides trade union activities such as caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers, trade union organizations have coordinated with agencies to send over 150 people to study advanced political theory and postgraduate courses, and over 400 others to study at state management schools and receive training in other professional skills. 100% of grassroots cadres, workers, and civil servants participated in supporting the "For Beloved Truong Sa" fund, contributing to the "For the Poor" fund and the "Trade Union Shelter" fund with a total amount of hundreds of millions of dong. Through emulation movements, grassroots trade unions have introduced 41 new Party members to the Party for training and admission.
With the results achieved, in 2012, 33 out of 37 trade union branches received the title of "Excellent Strong Trade Union", 4 branches received the title of "Strong"; the Nghe An Public Employees' Trade Union was recognized with the title of "Excellent Strong Trade Union at the Higher Level"; 16 collectives and 25 individuals received commendations from the Provincial Federation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2012.
At the Conference, many delegates also shared lessons learned from trade union activities over the past year and set tasks for 2013. These included: 100% of agencies and units effectively implementing austerity measures and combating waste to increase income; 100% of cadres and union members facing difficulties and hardships receiving timely support from the trade union; 100% of cadres and union members thoroughly studying the directives and resolutions of the Party, the policies and laws of the State, and those of higher-level trade unions; 95% of civil servants and public employees registering and implementing the emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; and 95% of grassroots trade unions achieving the "strong" status, with 80% or more achieving the "excellent strong" status.
