Nghe An Civil Servants' Union implements many important contents towards the grassroots

Delegates gave their opinions and passed a resolution to innovate the content and organization of emulation movements, contributing to the completion of political tasks; improving the material and spiritual life of union members. The resolution aims to promote the role and responsibility of grassroots trade unions in coordinating with heads of agencies and units to effectively launch and organize emulation movements for excellent and creative workers; contributing to improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of state management, the quality of public service provision, and the implementation of goals and targets on digital transformation and administrative reform.

Based on the key tasks of 2024, the Standing Committee of the Civil Servants' Trade Union has developed a draft scorecard for grassroots trade unions in 2024, based on criteria under the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The scoring content focuses on assessing grassroots trade union activities in performing the key tasks of the Civil Servants' Trade Union, performing the functions and tasks of the grassroots trade union organization.

To promote grassroots union activities,Civil Servants' Unionhas established a grassroots trade union emulation cluster. It is expected that in the coming time, the Civil Servants' Trade Union will establish 4 emulation clusters according to the types of grassroots trade union activities, including the Party, mass organizations, and associations; the Central agencies; the local agencies and the public service units.

On the basis of establishing emulation clusters, the Civil Servants' Trade Union will organize emulation campaigns to carry out the tasks of the trade union organization, from which to review and honor the title of grassroots trade unions that have excellently completed their annual tasks according to the type of activity.

On this occasion, the conference sought comments on the plan to organize activities in response to "Workers' Month" in 2024. The plan was developed based on the direction of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the activities of affiliated grassroots unions. The Standing Committee proposed 6 contents for grassroots unions with the goal of 100% of grassroots unions organizing activities in response.

The conference also reviewed the results of the first quarter's activities and deployed key tasks for the second quarter, including organizing a movement to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee; Peer-to-peer financial inspection work at grassroots trade unions; Work to develop a trade union activity plan for 2024; Contributing funds to support the construction of houses for the poor.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union acknowledged the enthusiastic and responsible comments of the delegates, and at the same time requested the units to focus on promoting activities in response to Workers' Month 2024 and emulation movements, especially the movement of civil servants and public employees daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility.

Also on this occasion, Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union presented flowers to say goodbye to comrade Hoang Vinh Truong - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, who stopped participating in the Executive Committee of the Civil Servants' Trade Union, term V, 2023-2028.
