Re-recognition of 4 4-star OCOP products in Nghe An
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1978/QD-UBND dated August 6, 2024 on re-recognizing 4 products achieving 4-star OCOP status.
These are the products: Lien Tu tea, lotus rice tea of Sen Que Bac Agricultural Cooperative (address: Mau 2 hamlet, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan), Mrs. Que's pickled mustard of Thanh Chuong pickled mustard and agricultural specialty production cooperative (hamlet 6, Hanh Lam commune) and Tan Hoi anchovy fish sauce of Cua Hoi - Cua Lo Seafood Processing and Service Joint Stock Company. These products achieved 4-star OCOP after the grading process.

The Decision also clearly states: The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development guides OCOP entities to use and print the OCOP logo on the packaging of recognized products according to regulations, coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to conduct periodic inspections of products and propose handling of products that do not meet the standards of the OCOP program.
The entities producing OCOP products recognized in this decision are responsible for organizing management and controlling product quality in accordance with the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products.

According to regulations, products certified as OCOP products are only valid for 36 months from the date the agency issues the recognition decision. In order to continue using the OCOP product certification mark (OCOP logo with star) printed or pasted on the packaging and labels of products when circulating and consuming on the market, these products need to be re-evaluated and recognized by competent authorities.
