Sanitation workers dig through 8 tons of trash to find lost diamond ring
A group of sanitation workers in China found a woman's lost wedding ring after 3 hours of digging through 8 tons of trash.

The woman, named Ren, said she dropped the 2-carat diamond ring at a beauty salon in Ningbo city, Zhejiang province on the evening of March 3, according to Global Times.
When Ren discovered the ring was missing, the store employees accidentally threw it in the trash and took it away.
The shop owner, Zheng, and his staff then went with Ren to the local waste collection and treatment station to ask for help finding the ring.
"Luckily, when they arrived, there were only 20 minutes left before the garbage was burned," said the head of the waste treatment station, Mr. Huang.
A group of sanitation workers had to dump out 8 tons of garbage.dig for the ring.
After 3 hours, a worker finally found the item. The group then spent another 3 hours cleaning up the mess.
Mr Huang called the discovery of the ring "a miracle" and said cases like Ren's were rare.
