Group F/G/H of the Southeast Asian region of the AFC Cup will take place from September 23 to September 29, 2020. If conditions permit, Group F and Group G matches will be held in Vietnam.

The two clubs representing Vietnam in the AFC Cup 2020 are Ho Chi Minh City and Than Quang Ninh. After 3 matches, Ho Chi Minh City Club is currently holding the top position in Group F with 2 wins and 1 draw. Than Quang Ninh Club is temporarily ranked second in Group G with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss, 3 points behind the top team Ceres Negros (Philippines).

Vietnam National Team will still 'fight' Malaysia on away land in October

Recently, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has issued the schedule for national and club tournaments in the final stages of 2020. Accordingly, the Vietnam National Team will still compete as scheduled.

Vietnam national football team will visit Malaysia on October 13.
