With the theme of work in 2024"Year of Youth Volunteers", and celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Year of Youth Volunteers",Volunteer activities are deployed synchronously by Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province in all aspects of work.
Volunteer activities took place enthusiastically with the participation of many youth classes, thereby promoting the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of Nghe An youth in participating in socio-economic development, contributing with the Party Committee and locality to perform tasks well, bringing practical results, improving people's lives.
The method of implementing volunteer activities has many new and creative points, focusing on difficult areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas.
In addition, the Youth Union at all levels has coordinated to implement smoothly."three links" policy. In particular, focusing on strong digital transformation in volunteer activities, using digital tools to mobilize and connect resources, many implementation activities bring positive effects and attract a large number of youth union members and people to participate.

35/35 district, city, town Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Unions have models of union members and youth participating in preserving and promoting national culture; cultural identity and people of Nghe An (reaching the target).
375,329 cadres, union members and youths participated in volunteer activities organized by the Union and Association (achieving 125% of the target).
1,545 ideas and initiatives of union members and youth were supported by the Youth Union to be implemented and realized (achieving 103% of the target).
Supported 11.85 billion VND for young people to borrow capital to start a business, establish a career, and develop the economy (reaching 118%), 46 creative start-up projects of young people were supported by the Youth Union (153%); 4,665 young people were equipped with knowledge and trained to improve human resources in start-ups and business administration (233.2%).
65,859 children in difficult circumstances received support from Youth Union organizations at all levels (target achieved).
The whole province built 51 new houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances (achieving 204% of the target).
The organization admitted 28,126 new members (reaching 100.45% of the target).
8,144 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for consideration of admission (achieving 116.3% of the target), and 3,184 new party members were admitted from outstanding union members (exceeding the target).
Deploy key tasks
Regarding the 2025 work program, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee stated that 2025 is the year to organize Party Congresses at all levels, requiring the Youth Union and Association to have a firm grasp of the local situation; be clear and decisive in directing work to successfully complete assigned tasks.
At the same time, the Youth Union units in the province closely follow the 2025 working theme "Nghe An Youth are proud and confident in following the Party". From the orientation of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the units need to concretize it with specific activities and targets, in depth and suitable to the characteristics of each locality.
For important economic - cultural - social events in 2025, units need to continue to promote propaganda work, further enhance the role and responsibility of Youth Union cadres in grasping ideas and orienting public opinion on social networks.
