The Song Lam Sugar Factory project covers an area of ​​47,780 square meters.²(including the factory area and the residential complex) was granted Investment Certificate No. 27121000104 by the Provincial People's Committee on November 26, 2014. The total investment is VND 201.74 billion (Two hundred and one billion, seven hundred and forty million dong). The operating period is 70 years.

Factory production line technology: Consists of 3 production lines/workshops:

+ Sugar processing production line (capacity of 1,500 tons of sugarcane per day). By 2020, sugar processing capacity will reach 3,000 tons of sugarcane per day.

+ Production line for bio-fertilizer (capacity of 2,000 tons of fertilizer per day);

+ Alcohol production line (capacity of 1 million liters of food-grade alcohol/year).

- The factory has 230 employees.

- Number of contract workers: 150 people

- Total number of households under contract for sugarcane cultivation: 140.

The total area of ​​land planned for sugarcane production is 3,240 hectares (existing sugarcane planting area: 2,100 hectares; expanded sugarcane planting area: 600 hectares; crop rotation area: 540 hectares). This area is planned for sugarcane production in 24 communes in Anh Son and Con Cuong districts.

From 1958 to the present, Song Lam Sugar Corporation has been honored with numerous awards and commendations throughout its history:

1. The 20th Regiment was awarded the Emulation Flag in 1958.

2. The Command of Military Region IV awarded the Emulation Flag in 1980.

3. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Emulation Flag for 1995-1996.

4. The People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded the Emulation Flag in 1993, 1994, 1996, and 2012.

5. The Prime Minister awarded the Emulation Flag for 2012.

6. Party work: For many consecutive years, the Party's grassroots organization has been recognized as "clean and strong".

7. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province awarded a Certificate of Merit for the period 1992-1996.
